Description

AES-CERBERUS® is a class I Medical device which complies with EN 16442:2015 and Medical Device Regulation 2017/745. Its system is patented and validated with cold plasma technology for the elimination of pathogens. An innovative solution which guarantees the maximum protection of enveloped material that needs to be transported and stored under aseptic conditions.

AES-CERBERUS® was created both to centralize the conservation process and to facilitate daily usage in high and low workflow wards, such as the departments of endoscopy, ENT, bronchoscopy, urology, intensive care and cardiology (for TEE probes).

The machine employs vacuum technology alternated with a patented system involving cold plasma injections with generation of free radicals. Thanks to its certified microbicidal action (virus, bacteria and other pathogens) it can keep the high-level disinfection status of enveloped instruments for up to 800 hours. This eliminates the risk of air-borne contamination and the risk of cross-contamination during enveloping procedures.

Designed to be compatible with every brand and model of endoscope, transesophageal probe (TEE) and other medical devices subject to high-level disinfection, without the need for connections to the endoscope channels.

Traceability is ensured by automatic printing of cycles on thermal paper (adhesive and triplex thermal paper roll optional) or by data transfer via Ethernet (optional software). Equipped with specific cycles for the different types of instruments that need to be stored. Every cycle is validated through automatic measurement of the plasma concentration inside the bag.

Founded in 2007 Medical Devices Group Srl is based on the proved experience of professionals of the medical devices field, it followed the steps of the previous AMD company.
Nowadays Medical Devices Group has at its disposition a wide sales grid for different areas such as Hospitals, Rest Houses and Private Clinics; as well as a very efficient service department for all kinds of medical appliances, water treatment devices and dialysis equipment. MDG ensures ISO:9001 quality to clients, as obtained in 2010 by the certifying organization TUV SUD, thanks to its own manufacturing plant for the production of different products focused on the endoscopic sector.
The Headquarters
On 2013 the Company new headquarters opened in the industrial area of Ravenna better known as Fornace Zarattini with a 240 square meters building in use for all the offices, production area, a laboratory and a warehouse.

Through its sales network Medical Devices Group srl covers all the areas selling medical devices for Hospitals, Rest Houses and Private Clinics. In 2012, it started to import products from two German Companies, manufacturers of ausilium and anti-decubitus systems. Thanks to this partnership Medical Device Group srl is their importer in Italy.
Service department
Due to the great capacity and skills of the service department technicians, Medical Devices Group is a service center focused on maintenance and technical support for different brands of the Italian market. Their long time experience permits them to work on equipment belonging to the sanitary sector for dialysis and water treatment for clients of the public and private healthcare system.
Production department
Due to the technical competences and professional qualities Medical Devices Group is the leader in its area for the production of different medical devices all CE certificated and registered at the Italian Minister of Public Health.
